The Babylon Craft Brewery opened its doors recently on the 6th floor of the House of Nosh in Erandawane. Very happy since a brewery (which as you know by now, also happens to be the largest brewery in Maharashtra) has opened in this side of the town, which means no more struggle to enjoy a weekend or even a weekday for that matter! 😀
Beers by the Babylon Craft Brewery
Babylon brewery is currently pouring 5 different beers. IPA, Apple Cider, Hefeweizen, Belgian Wit and Oatmeal Stout and we were invited to try them.
My personal favorite from them was the unfiltered and cloudy Belgian Wit, without a slice of orange though. The second one on my list was the Oatmeal Stout, a chocolaty dark, full bodied beer with a hint of coffee which was a good company with my spicy and delicious Roast Lamb Chilli.

They have an array of bar bites, right from those which you would have at home like the Nandu Sabka Bandhu platter which we had, to some quirky but delicious ones like the spicy and slightly sweet Chutney Peanuts or who would imagine the Sriracha Chicken Tikka Chaat with SPDP pooris, iceberg lettuce and some refreshing pomegranate?

Some of the crunchiest onion rings and delicious dips were a part of the Edges and Curls dish which we ordered, a half and half of potato wedges and onion rings. It was served with whiskey ketchup, sour cream, honey mustard and imly barbeque sauce. Not to miss the Oye Kakke Kheema Samosa which we enjoyed with an imly barbeque sauce! The Chicken Dumplings were served with a twist. In tiny bowls with a delicious broth to sip before eating the dumplings.

The Butter Chicken Tiffin with Dal Makhani was so filling. It can be easily shared by two. Included everything from papad, onion, tomatoes, cucumber, chilli and ofcourse the butter chicken, a slow cooked dal makhani, lachcha paratha and indrayani rice. Comfort food at its best!

Chocolate Chimichangas was a unique dessert. Crunchy on the outside with a sweet chocolaty and nutty filling inside. It was served with an intense pineapple salsa and berry compote, tasted so good!
The interiors are amazing. To top it off, they offer valet parking to sort the parking issues.
